Hello loves! 。◕‿◕。
A cold, gloomy day made bright and beautiful by the wonderful team at Smartindianwomen.com! Thanks a ton for featuring me on your fabulous website, which gives recognition to budding bloggers like me. *Big bear hugs* to all my dear readers for always taking out time to drop by, I can never thank you guys enough.Sharing with you all some excerpts from the interview.
“ SIW: Thanks for taking the time to chat with SIW. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your blog.
Lilmrswifey : It is an absolute honor to be featured in such a wonderful site which gives a platform to women bloggers like me to share what they love with the world!
I am an Engineering graduate but I decided to follow my dreams and worked as a PR and Communications professional with some prominent international organizations. I moved to the US after I married my soul mate and started my blog here in November 2014. I have always been passionate about writing and fashion-so the best way to blend them together was by creating my own unique space on the web-www.lilmrswifey.com!
SIW: What do you find most challenging about blogging?
LMW: With so many blogs out there, it can get a bit challenging to divert the audience towards your site. But learning about SEO, keywords, tags and other technicalities helps. It is an ever-evolving world out there and you need to be on your toes all the time, learning new things and keeping yourself updated.
SIW: What are some of your favorite author blogs and why?
LMW : I personally like fashion bloggers Negin Mirsalehi and Ebba Zingmark. Two beautiful ladies who have a distinct, edgy and androgynous style.
SIW: What are your favorite books that you would recommend SIW family?
LMW : I have always been an avid reader. Two books which I would recommend to the SIW family are-“A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Afghan-American author Khaled Hosseini and “Memoirs of a Geisha” by American writer Arthur Golden. Both are stories of strength and resilience of women who face innumerable obstacles in their road to survival. “
