A no-fail, super easy recipe for my favorite vegan pizza sauce.By using ingredients which you already have in your kitchen you can make this creamy sauce in under 15 minutes!Use it on pizzas, pastas or as a sandwich spread. Enjoy 🙂

Ingredients:
3 Medium Tomatoes
3 Cloves Garlic
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Oregano (or Italian Seasoning)
1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1/3 Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
1/3 Teaspoon Red Chilly Powder (or 2 Chopped Green chillies)
1 Bay Leaf (Tej Patta)
Finely chop the garlic and roughly chop tomatoes.
Take 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.Keep it on medium heat.
Add chopped garlic.
Add the bay leaf.
When the raw smell of garlic goes away (in about 2 minutes), add the tomatoes.
Add salt followed by oregano, chilly powder, garam masala and black pepper powder.
In about 2 minutes the tomatoes will start releasing water and become mushy. You need to keep stirring it to avoid sticking at the bottom.
At this time you can add 1 tablespoon of hot sauce or tomato ketchup. But if you don’t have ketchup at hand you can skip this step.
Stir well, taste and adjust your seasoning accordingly. When your mixture reduces to half give it a final stir and turn off the heat.
I like a chunky sauce like this for my pizzas.
If you prefer a smooth sauce, just transfer it to a mixer.
A couple of pulses will give you this smooth and creamy sauce.
Use it on pizzas, pastas or as a sandwich spread!Enjoy:)
