I celebrated my first marriage anniversary on the 2nd of May, in the fictional town of Mayberry 😀 Yup. A fictional community that was the setting for two popular American television sitcoms, The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry R.F.D.  Mayberry was set in North Carolina and is said to be based on Andy Griffith‘s hometown of Mount Airy. The place has selected cottages and it was a last minute cancellation by some kind soul (yippy!), which made our stay possible!

This post is unlike my usuals, it’s basically my face plastered all over in this photo series from our  getaway . A first for me, but I really wanted to share the beauty of this quaint little place. It was truly a feast for the eyes and 2 days were too less a time to soak in it’s alluring charm. So hop on and join me as I revisit the magical weekend.
