Hello Beautiful ppl! (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ ★
Hope the weather has started to turn pleasant in your part of the world! As for me, well I haven’t craved for a few minutes of uninterrupted sunlight more than I do now. The winds play spoilsport and I am left shivering at most attempts of sunbathing. But hubz has come up with a gem of an idea-we drive all the way to the most sunny area visible and soak up the sun in the safety of our car 😀 Bye, bye windyy bby!!
Valentine’s day is just round the corner and well if you are one of those “everyday is a day for love” kinda person, then sorry my friend, this post ain’t for you! If I love someone (read-family, friends), I try to go out of my way to make them feel special. It’s not that I reserve all these goodies for the holidays but I must admit that I have a thing for festivals and V-day is THE day ! I was looking for some DIY gift inspirations online and thought I would share ’em with you lovelies! And for all u men reading this post- please don’t be afraid to pick up those craft supplies and make something for your girl! Let’s get started!
1. DIY HEART CUSHION (NO SEW)
Heart cushions have been the ideal V-day gifts since like forever. If buying one sounds like a cliche’d gift , wouldn’t it be nice if you make one and personalize it with say a cute monogrammed patch? This DIY is pretty simple and it’s perfect for you if you can’t well..hold a needle.
2. PERSONALIZED CHOCOLATE BAR
Chocolates?YESSS!!How about a personalized chocolate bar with a love message??A sweet way to his/her heart! (cheesyyy 😀 hehe!) You can add lines from your fav poem or a dialogue from the movie you guys love..need to go an extra mile? Write one of your own!
3. MASON JAR TREATS
You probably know how easy it is to work with mason jars, and for this next DIY all you need to do is create a cute label with a love note, paste it on the jar and fill it with treats of your choice! The best part about this gift is the fact that you can customize it according to the preference of your valentine. If the person is a sweet lover-fill it with candies or caramel bites or choco bars, for a tea lover you can place assorted tea bags and cookies, for a health nut you can add almonds, pistachios and sunflower seeds.
4. MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
A cool alternative to a V-Day card, you can make this message-in-a-bottle and write a letter as long as your heart desires (cards have lesser space yo!).Drop it in the ocean, and let it float away to your love..ermm no, just hand deliver! 😀
5. HEART PIZZA
For pizza mends the broke heart…If you are staying back home this Valentine’s, try your hand at making a delish pizza, couple it up with some homemade lemonade and devour your fruit of labor! Share it with your family, show em some love! :-*
Hope you enjoyed these easy DIYs! Would love to hear your V-Day ideas and what you have planned for your loved ones. Until next time..
