Oatmeal Mask

With a bunch of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties, they help in improving skin tone and smoothing out any scars or blemishes.A natural exfoliator which can be used for any skin type, oats will be your next best friend.

You will need:

  • ½ cup oatmeal

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 drops lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder


  • Boil the water till it is lukewarm

  • Add the oatmeal to it and stir well

  • After it cools down add lemon juice and cinnamon powder

  • Apply to affected areas.Let it dry and gently scrub off with warm water.

Clay Mask

You will need:

  • Mix all ingredients properly until they form a smooth paste

You will need:

  • 1/2  Cucumber

  • 1 Tablespoon yogurt

  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice


  • Grate the cucumber or puree it.

  • Add the yogurt and lemon juice.Mix well.

  • Apply to clean skin and wash off after 15-20 minutes.

Avocado Mask

You will need:

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 tablespoon raw honey

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar


  • Mash avocado well to remove any lumps.

  • Add honey, sugar and mix well to combine

  • Apply the mask to your face and gently scrub off in circular motions after 15 minutes

Matcha Mask


Matcha, the traditional Chinese and Japanese tea blend, is said to have 10 times the antioxidant properties compared to regular green tea.According to Dr Weil‘s website, “In addition to providing trace minerals and vitamins (A, B-complex, C, E, and K), matcha tea is rich in catechin polyphenols – compounds with high antioxidant activity.” Thus making it an important component of masks to heal acne scars.

You will need:

  • 1 Big Tablespoon Matcha Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Rose Water

  • 2-3 Drops Lemongrass Essential Oil


  • Combine matcha powder and rose water to form a smooth paste

  • Add lemongrass essential oil and apply allover face.

  • Wash off with warm water when dry.
